Due to the economics of the biomass heating equipment and the fuel used to run it, our ideal customers are schools, businesses, municipalities, etc., using 10,000+ gallons of fuel oil per year in boilers that heat water and distribute it to:
- Fan-coil units (e.g., Modines)
- Radiant floors
- Indirect domestic water tanks
- Process heating
We can also work with other types of heating systems, such as those using steam distribution and forced hot air distribution (i.e., furnaces, including roof-top units).
Facilities located in a campus setting may be readily served by a central heating plant that distributes heat underground to various individual buildings.
Xylogen’s heating plant may be located within an existing building, if space permits, or in a “boiler house” that is constructed and insulated in our shop and delivered to your site.
Facilities using propane gas (pure, or distributed as “city gas”) are also well-suited to our heating service.
Our target area for installations includes: NH, VT, ME and MA.
If you know of a facility that might benefit from our offering, please email us for more information.
